Jane Trigere uses stories as the raw material for her art. She collects memories of an event or forgotten items and brings them alive in a piece of visual art. Her work is mostly three-dimensional found objects or textiles. She is currently collecting stories about ironing, so contact her. And she is exploring Eve--textual and textile-ly.

Jane teaches the Jewish folk arts of embroidery, papercut and Hebrew calligraphy to groups and individuals.

Her degree in Jewish Art and Visual Culture from Jewish Theological Seminary has prepared her to give power-point presentations (and tours) of area synagogues, Jewish ceremonial art, and individual Jewish artists or art movements.
