CBI Adult Education presents: Wise Aging
A social worker and Jewish educator in conversation with you!

Let's look at how we can find meaning in the aging process. This four-part introduction includes both a deepening process and connection opportunity.

• Cultivating Nourishing Relationships
• The Dynamics of Giving & Receiving Care

We will be using the book “Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience, & Spirit” by Rabbi Rachel Cowan & Dr. Linda Thal.
Book fee of $18, Four sessions $100 (sliding scale available)

Tim Oppenheimer, J.D., M.S.W., after years as an attorney and union representative, went back to school to earn an M.S.W., with a concentration in group work. He has worked with caregivers for the acutely ill, with older adults, and with those suffering from dementia.

Jody Rosenbloom, M.A., retired in June 2015 as director of lifelong learning after her 18th year serving the Jewish Community of Amherst. She is currently training as a facilitator for the Institute of Jewish Spirituality's Wise Aging programming and beginning a havurah focused on "retirement".
