The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents: Knosh & Knowledge. Crossing the Line: Anti-Semitism, BDS and Civil Rights

Knosh & Knowledge hosts Jeffrey Robbins, the former president of the World Affairs Council of Boston and the former chairman of the New England Board of the Anti-Defamation League of New England.

Jeffrey has written on issues relating to Israel and the mideast for the Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor, the Boston Globe, The Observer, The Times of Israel, and the Boston Herald.

For this program, he will speak about "when, if at all, does targeting Israel for criticism cross a line from legitimate criticism into something uglier? What are the challenges facing Israel among progressives, and what role should supporters, and should Israel itself, play in meeting those challenges?"

Jeffrey Robbins has also served as a US Delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Commission in the Clinton Administration and as Chief Counsel for the Minority on the US Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and as an Assistant US Attorney for the district of MA.

Advanced lunch reservations required by Thursday, May 10 before noon by calling 413-442-4360, ext. 10 or [email protected]
