An Introduction to the Argentine Tango, and to a Modern Approach to its Pedagogy

Guest Speaker: Daniel Trenner

The Tango is the dance of the city of Buenos Aires, and has a rich tradition of social, dance and musical culture. Daniel Trenner lived in Buenos Aires from 1986-2001, and experienced the tango's modern revival. He was also known as the "Johnny Appleseed" of Tango in North America during the formative years here.
