The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents "Yiddish Poetry in Translation" with Diana Bregman Feld.

Join master teacher, Diana Feld, as she shares with us through the art of storytelling and reading aloud about her mother, Edith Bregman's extensive oevre of Yiddish poetry. Diana reads poetry in both English and in Yiddish.

Edith Bregman studied with both Jacob Gladstein and Joseph Opatoshu at the Yiddish Teacher's Seminary in NY. Her privately published works have been donated to the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research Archives and to the National Yiddish Book Center.

This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others.
